Watch out for so-called organic or natural shampoos. Unlike food labelling, the toiletry industry has no regulations to prevent the misuse of these terms.
Natural ingredients such as amino acids and minerals are added to shampoos and conditioners to give hair a healthy-looking appearance.
But to stop them going off, synthetic preservatives are sometimes added too. Some manufacturers like Lush have true organic ranges, so it pays to check ingredients carefully.
WE asked for businesses to offer rewards to people who do good deeds. Then we asked people to start doing nice things to earn the rewards. One man has chosen to do both!
