Join a school run

Start a school run with families who live close to you. Your parents or guardians can take turns to drive you and your friends to school, saving fuel (and your parents' time).

Walk to school

If your school is quite close to your home, encourage your parents to walk you to school in the mornings. It will help you to keep fit, and will help to reduce the damage caused by car emissions.

Reuse and recycle paper

Reuse all unwanted print-outs and drafts. You can use them as scrap-paper for notes and sketches, or you could tear the paper into strips and use them for papier mache.
