WITH spring now almost in our sights, the time has come to plan some exciting summer days out.

News Shopper has teamed up with Cathedrals Express to offer readers the chance to win one of two pairs of premier class tickets on a steam train.

The winners will be able to choose from either the Kent Coast Sunrise trip on May 6 or the White Cliffs Sunset journey on May 13.

Both trips depart from Bromley South station and include either breakfast or an evening meal.

The first trip leaves at 6.30am and takes the Kent coast route to Margate, then past Canterbury Cathedral before returning via the Weald.

The other option leaves at 7pm, travelling past Maidstone and Canterbury then south along the coast through Sandwich, Deal and Dover before emerging at the foot of the famous white cliffs.

As darkness falls, the train passes Folkestone before arriving back in Bromley at 11pm.
