REMEMBER, remember the 5th of November. As the celebrations for Guy Fawkes night begin, News Shopper has found some of the best and biggest fireworks displays happening in your areas.
Lewisham and Greenwich Blackheath. November 7, 8pm. Free.
The Blackheath fireworks display is one of the most dazzling in London, bringing colour and light to the skies of Lewisham and Greenwich. The display promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
It will be a full 30 minutes long and will feature a vast array of fireworks in a dazzling range of colours, set perfectly to music.
Bromley
Chilsehurst Rotary Club. November 8, 6.30pm. £4.50 for adults and £2.50 for kids.
The fireworks display, organised by the Chislehurst Rotary Club and supported by the News Shopper, will entertain the crowds on Chislehurst Recreation Ground.
Advance tickets are available from selected shops in Chislehurst, Petts Wood and Mottingham before the event. For more details contact the rotary club on 0208 467 6051.
Beckenham Round Table, Croydon Road Recreation Ground, Croydon Road, Beckenham. November 7 6pm. Adults £5. Children £3. Children under five go free. A fun event for all ages.
The fireworks display will last for approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
Crystal Palace Park, Anerley Hill, Cystal Palace. November 5, 5pm. Adults £5. Children £3. Children under five go free.
The display starts at 8pm and will last approximately 25 to 25 minutes.
Norman Park, Hayes Lane, Bromley. November 7, 5pm. Adults £5. Children £3. Children under five go free. The firework display will last for approximately 20 minutes.
West Wickham Rotary Club, Langley Park School for Girls, Hawkbrook Lane, South Eden Park Road, Beckenham. November 7, 6pm. Adult tickets £6, Children £3.50 (under fives go free).
It is the club’s 15th annual firework display. Hot food, drinks and mulled wine available to purchase. Proceeds to St Christopher’s Hospice, other charities, community projects and the school.
Bexley
Danson Park, Welling. November 7, 6pm. Adults £6 and children £2.50 on the gate.
It is the 37th annual firework display in the grounds of the historic Danson Park and is organised by Welling Round Table. The display will last for approximately 30 minutes.
Sherwood Park School, Sherwood Park Avenue, Sidcup. November 6, 6pm. Adults £3. Children £1.50. Family ticket £6. No parking allowed on school grounds.
Gravesend
Riverside Leisure Area, Gravesend. November 6, 6pm. Free.
The display will feature live music from Beergut 100, Stan Lee King Boogie Bus Disco Road Show and Smiths Carnival Funfair.
The fireworks will be choreographed to music to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the moon landings. There will also be a selection of catering outlets on site.
Dartford
Central Park, Dartford. November 7, 5.30pm. Adults £3. Children £1.50. This annual event is organised and run by Dartford Lions Club.
