Bromley High School is an independent, selective, girls' school, which provides an education for girls of four to 18 years.
We represent quality, opportunity, encouragement and self-confidence. We expect hard work, enthusiasm and commitment and we
provide the opportunity to enjoy all aspects of education whether academic, creative, social, physical or spiritual.
"Bromley High School has many great strengths and no significant weaknesses. Leadership and management are highly successful
in achieving the aims of the school and in guarding its distinctive ethos where all members of the community are valued,
and know they are valued for themselves." - (5.1) ISI Inspection 2006.
Our independent status allows us to make the curriculum really flexible so girls can have as much subject choice as
possible in all age groups and they are encouraged to achieve to their full potential, practically, socially and academically.
"The very broad academic curriculum in the Senior School offers pupils a very wide range of subjects and provides ample
opportunities for the development of the skills they will need in the future." - (2.7) ISI 2006.
Whilst we enjoy all the benefits of a single-sex school we do have many joint activities both social and academic with
neighbouring boys' schools, such as our recent Year 10 Business Conference and Sixth Form Conference.
"Good progress by pupils at every stage fulfils the school's aims to enable individual pupils to reach their potential."
- (2.18) ISI Inspection 2006.
We intend that at the end of Year 13 our students are able to say that their time with us was happy, unique and
provided excellent opportunities for lifelong learning.
