For Curriculum Enrichment Week, Keston CE primary school, Lakes Road, chose an African Arts theme to celebrate the diversity of culture at the school.
Children participated in a variety of hands-on activities such as pottery based on African animals, workshops on African drumming, dance, storytelling and drama with dance troupe, Oduduwa.
Children will be creating their own pictures, based on Africa or African artists, for an exhibition at the end of this month.
The children will also be investigating African artefacts and Mandy King, the diversity adviser for Bromley, will be running a workshop based on an African story, as well as other activities planned to stimulate learning.
