FOOD hygiene does not get better than this, as a school is awarded top marks in a council scheme.
Bishop Justus School has been given five stars in the Scores on the Doors initiative.
The school in Magpie Hall Lane is the only secondary school to have reached the highest possible standard.
Before rating a business Bromley Council’s food safety officers assess three areas: food hygiene and safety procedures; structure and facilities and confidence in management.
Bishop Justus Headteacher Kathy Griffiths said: “We are very proud of our dedicated catering team, which nourishes us with strict attention to healthy eating and excellent standards of hygiene.
“I am delighted their efforts have been recognised with a five star award.”
