STUDENTS have featured in a TV advert with a rap artist to highlight the advantages of studying a diploma.
Raj Barsa, 15, Charlie Rayfield, 16 and 17-year-old Georgia Bradford appear in the advert working on different parts of producing a Kano music video for his latest single More Than One Way.
The pupils, who are studying a diploma in construction and the built environment at Thamesview School in Gravesend, supported Kano’s crew by ensuring the set was ready for the shoot.
They also constructed a blackout tent for lighting and helped put together the stage.
Kano, real name Kane Robinson, said: “I want kids to know that there are different ways of succeeding.
“Studying the diploma is one of them – but there are lots of other education routes and everyone needs to know what their options are so they can make the best choice for themselves.”
