A HEADTEACHER has said she is ‘delighted’ after her primary school was graded as outstanding.
Green Street Green Primary School, in Vine Road, Green Street Green, Orpington, was given the thumbs up by Ofsted following the inspection which took place in May.
The mixed school teaches 400 students aged between five and 11 years old.
Barbara Grandi has been the headteacher at the school for more than five years.
Ms Grandi said: “We are delighted with the Ofsted Inspection.
“The staff have worked very hard to achieve ‘outstanding’ and the pupils and their families have supported us all the way."
The Inspectors were impressed with the school’s teaching, curriculum, support and emphasis on music and sport.
