A NEW wave of entrepreneurs is set to hit the business world as business administration students graduated from Bromley College of Further and Higher Education.
Despite the wind and rain, the students celebrated their achievements with friends, family and tutors at Greenwich University, Park Row, Greenwich on July 20.
Student Lema de Silva, 28 from Beckenham relished in his glory and proudly offered out his business cards to friends having successfully starting his own marketing business and managing events company.
Lema, who returned to education after a five-year break said: "I thought it would be tough but Bromley College made it easy for me. I got a lot of support."
He added: "I've always wanted to set up my own business because I used to manage nightclubs but I had a limited knowledge of marketing.
"I wanted to do more corporate work and something more challenging - marketing at a professional level."
Amanda Staples, a tutor at the college said: "We work on a much smaller scale which allows us to support the students individual needs and also allows them to work closely together.
"The degree provides the right skills and training for students to get a job, set up their own business or continue with their studies".
