NERVOUS students across north Kent are heading to schools this morning to collect their A Level results.

13.30: A Level results for Wilmington Grammar School

The overall pass rate was 98%
A* - 9%
A*, A – 26%
A*, A, B – 52%
A* - C - 77%
A* - D – 92%
A* - E – 98%

Total number of Year 13 pupils on roll - 94

Head teacher, Maggie Bolton, said: "I am very proud that the hard work of our girls and their teachers has paid off, producing record results. “While the overall pass rate has remained unchanged, I am particularly pleased that our students have achieved a record number of A* to B grades which the top universities require.

“In a particularly competitive year, our students will be able to move on to some of the best Universities in the country.”
