Marketing technology and services company Acxiom has donated £4,100 to the Freddie Farmer Foundation charity, who are based in Bromley. The donation came from the proceeds of a sunflower growing competition and included a personal donation of £1,000 from Acxiom International President, Warren Jenson.
The firm raised the money from an employee engagement initiative that involved growing sunflowers in the office to symbolise team and business growth.
“We’re chuffed to bits about the donation,” said charity officer, Karen Smith.
“Acxiom staff suggested which charities should benefit from the competition and a shortlist was drawn up.
“Over 150 staff from Acxiom UK voted and took part.
“We’re absolutely delighted to be chosen as the benefitting charity.”
