FATHER Christmas will be taking time out in Welling every evening from Saturday until Christmas Eve.

He will be in Danson Crescent, where Bishop Jonathan Blake is lighting up his home to raise cash for Save the Children.

Surrounded by Christmas scenes, Santa will be receiving children’s Christmas letters and will have photographs taken for free with children.

There will be carol singing at 4pm on Christmas Eve.

Last year the lights raised £1,240.
