GREENWICH'S royal transformation has cost £114,700 so far, it has been revealed.
The figure was made public at a meeting this week in a written reply by the council to a resident's question.
Replacing boundary signs around the borough, which the council claims had become delapidated anyway, has cost £21,800.
Street sign replacements, meanwhile, have set the council back £19,000.
Lampost banners put up in town centres have cost a further £41,400.
Royal status was celebrated with three days of celebrations last month featuring fireworks displays which cost £32,500. The council says this spending was offset by sponsorship.
The council says becoming a royal borough will bring new investment to the borough. The Queen herself is set to visit in April.
