Work started in January and it is expected to be open this autumn.
General manager Robert Goodman said: “The Wintergarden is Bluewater’s front door for many of our guests, and we feel it is now time to give it a new look, by enhancing the offer, the environment and the experience.”
Bluewater said it had a 24 per cent increase in catering sales last December compared with December 2010.The Wintergarden redesign follows the opening of the centre’s Plaza dining area in November.
