After seeing off 18 other competitors, Sydenham's Bianca Miller narrowly lost out to Mark Wright in The Apprentice final.

Bianca Miller, from Sydenham missed out on the chance of winning £250,000 and entering a partnership with Lord Alan Sugar after losing the final of The Apprentice to Mark Wright.

The series finale saw previous candidates from the series return to help the two finalists launch their business plans and pitch to relevant industries.

Bianca's idea was to launch a range of luxury tights to match to various different skin tones, an idea which had been praised by Lord Sugar's advisers in the previous round.

However Bianca's pitch was criticised for being aimed at the wrong market and having too much stock.

Bianca said: "If you lose to someone who isn't very good, it's upsetting, but Mark is very credible.

"I was happy to go up against him and if I was going to lose, to lose to him was the best I could hope for, really.

Since the show ended, Bianca revealed that she has since dropped the retail price of her tights to give the brand a broader appeal and was even thinking about working with her Apprentice final nemesis.

She said: "Mark could help me with my SEO - although I think he might be a bit too expensive for me."

Afterwards, during the The Apprentice You're Hired programme, Bianca's professional, forthright and mature style as well as her integrity during the process drew much praise from Karen Brady.

Baroness Brady said: "It was a priviledge to watch you.

"You're an incredible business woman and I think you'll go a very long way."
