The Department for Children, Schools and Families published its Key Stage 2 league tables following this year’s Standard Assessment Tests (SATs).

The figures show that 75 per cent of pupils in Bromley acheived at least a Level 4 or above in English and maths exams combined.

The Government target is 55 per cent.

Primary schools falling below that target include Churchfields, Gray’s Farm, Hillside, Leesons, Mottingham, Princes Plain, St Anthony's, St Mary Cray and Worsley Bridge Junior.

Keston and St James' primary schools both managed a 100 per cent score - the only two schools to do so in the borough.
