The documentary was aired while they were in custody awaiting trial, and was used alongside YouTube videos of the men bragging about their use of firearms as evidence in the trial.

Armed police officers arrested White, Palmer and Oduro at about 6.45pm on Thursday, May 26 on the Turnham Estate in Brockley, Lewisham. The trio were wearing balaclavas and standing by a black Honda moped.

Oduro ran off, but was stopped nearby after a short chase. White and Palmer were detained by police near the bike.

All three were subsequently charged.

Detective Constable Sarah Smart, of the Trident and Gang Crime Command, said: "These men are very dangerous criminals who used TV and social media to brag about carrying loaded firearms on the street.

"It is clear they believed that they were above the law and untouchable. Their conviction and sentencing demonstrates this is not the case.

"Trident is committed to relentlessly pursuing those who carry firearms and blight the communities they live in."
