It seems the clingfilm bandits have returned to carparks in the south east after another car was pictured all wrapped up at Bluewater.

It has been revealed to News Shopper that the car left covered in clingfilm in Bluewater's car park last night belonged to Bluewater employee, Ben Sutton, as a prank on his last day.

Mr Sutton said: "This incident was staged by my work colleagues which is a tradition when someone leaves the company and I have left, it has nothing to do with the other car you mentioned."

A colleague, who wished only to be named as Andy, was responsible for the prank and told News Shopper: "It was a spur of the moment thing.

"We didn't even know it had happened their before.

"He thought it was really funny."

Chris Kimpton posted the picture of a cling film-wrapped Renault Clio last night (August 8) at 9.14pm after spotting the prank in the shopping centre's carpark.

News Shopper:

He said: "Didn't know they offered that gift wrapping service (@ Bluewater Shopping Centre)."

This comes after a car was spotted in Bluewater's carpark wrapped in red tape on May 1.

And on May 20 angry Eltham teenager, Katherine Moredaunt, aged 18, told News Shopper how annoyed she was to find her Fiat Punto wrapped in cling film in Danson Road, Bexleyheath.

Do you know whose car this is?
