Bexley youngsters have been honoured for their contributions to their communities at a special ceremony in Dartford.
Around 150 young people from 19 secondary schools in the borough received a Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Award at an annual presentation held at the Orchard Theatre last month.
They were nominated by their peers and leaders, winning awards for a variety of achievements.
The youngsters, aged 11 to 25, received medallions to go with their certificates and £200 cheques.
Winners included Naa Annoa Abekah-Mensah, 15, who goes to Bexley Grammar School Danson Lane, Welling, and is campaigning to help improve public transport for students.
Franck Pegny, 16, from The Business Academy Bexley Yarnton Way, Erith, also won for raising money for aid charity War Child.s
