An air ambulance landed on the A2 at Gravesend where a car has flipped onto its roof.
Kent Police closed the road at around 2pm when then car overturned and it was reopened just at 3.30pm.
The female driver of the car was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital by air ambulance with injuries to her arm.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "The entire carriageway was closed while the air ambulance dealt with the situation.
