Stolen sat navs and clothing were found at the premises.

The suspect was interviewed and bailed until a date in mid-August, pending further investigations.

Stefan Muraru said: "It is very different working in the UK but we are thoroughly enjoying our time with British police officers as we have found everyone very accommodating and helpful"

PC Pete Rose from Bexley Police’s North Neighbourhood Team said: "Working with international law enforcement partners was an opportunity for everyone: for us to utilise the skills of the Romanian officers and for them to be able to take part in our way of working.

"Their skills were absolutely invaluable as it saved us a lot of time and unnecessary difficulty bridging a language barrier, as well as making our investigations more thorough."
