Gravesend police would like to talk to this man in connection with a distraction burglary.
The man claimed to be from a water company and entered the woman's home in Nine Elms Grove, at about 1pm, on Friday, July 4.
The victim confronted the man when she saw him looking around her living room.
The man alleged that someone had stolen money from a purse and escaped through a window.
The victim realised £30 had been stolen from a purse and the man left.
The suspect has been described as a man, aged between 20 and 24, 5ft 2in tall, of slim build, with dark brown hair and wrinkles.
He has been described as having a foreign accent.
