You have an hour or so to spare in Nuxley Village, so where do you go and what do you do?

Vibe’s picked out five things. The list is very much a snapshot, so feel free to tell us your picks by leaving a comment below or tweeting @JimNewsShopper.

Stock up on homewares

News Shopper:

The aptly-named Walkaround is lovely for a walkaround and it stocks all manner of household essentials and inexpensive kitchen gadgets.  A mini goldmine.

Go to church

News Shopper:

It doesn’t matter if you’re religious or not, All Saints Church in Nuxley Road is worth a look. It is exceedingly pretty.

Have a bite

News Shopper:

Nuxley Village has a fair few places to pick up some lunch. Highly rated are Mr Man’s Fish and Chips at one end of Nuxley Road and Millers Pie and Mash just off the other end. Proper old fashioned grub.

Who’s a pretty boy, then?

News Shopper:

Known to some (OK, maybe just me) as Nuxley Zoo, Belvedere Pets and Flowers has cuddly critters that you’ll love, from chirpy birds to guinea pigs and rabbits.

Bloomin’ lovely

News Shopper:

Nothing’s quite as lovely as a bunch from Nuxley Road Florist.

Next week we're in Blackheath. Send your tips to jim.palmer@london.newsquest.co.uk
