Gypsies camp-up in Abbey Wood
Gypsies have set up camp in a field in Abbey Wood.
Caravans began pulling up at 11am this morning (June 17) in the field between Longleigh Lane, Bostall Hill and Brampton Road.
Met Police officers are currently blocking up one entrance to the field.
An officer on the scene said: "They can still get in through other entrances but the council have applied for a licence to remove them so they will be going somewhere else in a few days.
