Pepys road has been open to traffic all day. On the other hand Drakefell road and Avignon road have had queues of traffic all day.
For those of us living on Drakefell road we have had to endure angry drivers blowing their horns, traffic at a stand still and no one taking responsibility about what should be done to keep the traffic flowing.
If the traffic had been diverted up Kitto road along the top of Pepys and down Wallbutton there would be far fewer angry motorists and far fewer unhappy residents along Drakefell road.
Interesting how the folks on Telegraph Hill must never be disturbed.
8pm and the jack knife lorry is still there almost 12 hours later?
