The National Lottery is still hunting for a Bexley EuroMillions winner who has not claimed their  £168,155 prize.

The winning numbers, drawn on January 24, saw someone in the borough scoop a huge prize. But they have only until July 23 to claim it.

The winning numbers on that date were 5, 19, 34, 35, 41 and the Lucky Star numbers were 1 and 5.

A spokesman said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a difference to somebody’s life and is sure to put a smile on any bank manager’s face!

“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding over the Bank Holiday weekend.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa whether staying at home this bank holiday or before travelling away for the weekend – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.

“We have the champagne on ice, the bank cheque written and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their prize in time.”

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to the National Lottery Projects – adding to the £31 billion already raised through sales of lottery tickets since November 1994.
