A new study has uncovered the most popular junk foods across the country.
Fish and chips tops the charts, compiled by www.VoucherCodesPro.co.uk, for people in the south-east with 39 per cent of people admitting to the traditional English meal being their top fatty treat.
In London, however, people’s top guilty pleasure appears to be cake with 31 per cent of people admitting to gorging on the sweet stuff more than they should.
In fact the average south-easterner spends £55.40 on junk food while the research showed people in the south-west spend more on junk food than anywhere else in the country.
