A 15-year-old girl and her teenage companion have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a Catford stabbing last night.
Police were called at 6.30pm last night (August 13) to Honley Road, Catford, near Rushey Green, after reports of a stabbing.
London Ambulance Service also attended the scene and took a 21-year-old man to a south London hospital.
He is currently in a critical but stable condition.
According to neighbours, the incident began outside a Rushey Green chicken shop and quickly escalated.
Part of Rushey Green and Hornley Road were cordoned off by police this morning but have now reopened.
A 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
They are currently in custody at a south London police station.
Detectives from the Trident Gang Crime Command are investigating and are appealing for anyone with information about the attack to call them on 020 8247 4877.
