A 61-year-old New Cross chef has denied slashing a man's bottom with a meat cleaver after a row over damage to a Catford car.
Phat Duong, of Chubworthy Street, appeared at Woolwich Crown Court today (August 7).
Police were called on May 6 at around 2.30pm to a restaurant at Eros House in Brownhill Road, Catford, after reports of a disturbance.
A 40-year-old man had allegedly been assaulted inside the resturant with a meat cleaver following an argument over damage to a car.
The attack left him with wounds to his arm, buttock and upper leg.
Duong denied causing grievous bodily harm with intent and criminal damage.
He is due to stand trial at the same court next March.
