The Astley Day Centre summer fete saw hundreds of people treated to sun, burgers and ice cream.

The event, in Magpie Hall Lane on Saturday (August 2), included Pets as Therapy and a reptile tent.

The St John's Ambulance and fire engines also made appearances, while a fashion contest and bouncy castle kept everyone who attended entertained.
