A one-year-old St Paul's Cray girl celebrated her first birthday on Tuesday - the same day as Prince George - throwing a huge party that attracted 200 guests.

While George was living it up at a tea party in the grounds of Kensington Palace, Mintyrose Baker's big bash took place under a marquee in Star Lane, Orpington.

Mintyrose, born at the Princess Royal University Hospital in Farnborough, wore a stunning pink dress - a birthday gift - and received an impressive cake decorated with images of her and George.

Mother Racheal, 31, of Lullingstone Crescent, said: "The day went brilliantly. She was so excited and she had a brilliant time.

"Loads of people came down, children her age and older children as she has two older sisters.

"The cake we had made for her was made by Julie Scrumptious Cakes in St Paul's Cray, who are fantastic."

She added: "Mintyrose may not be royalty, but in my eyes she will always be the little princess of the family."
