Firefighters will strike tomorrow (July 9) over a dispute with the government over pensions.
Members of the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) will be striking from 10am to 7pm.
A spokesman for Kent Fire Rescue Service (KFRS) said: "This is a national dispute between the Government and the FBU over pensions.
"Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) is not involved in the negotiations and will continue to respond to emergencies but the level of response will be affected by the walkout."
KFRS is asking people to do what they can to help reduce the risk of fire in their home by following #takeextracare safety advice on Facebook and Twitter.
