Bromley detectives are trying to track down more than £200,000 worth of stolen antique watches.

Officers have released a number of photographs of the “rare and valuable” timepieces, which went missing after a burglary in Beckenham on Tuesday March 4.

The watches, some of which date back to the 1600s, range between £5,000 and £15,000 each, and were taken from a property in Stanley Avenue between 5.45 and 10.10pm.

A BMW was also stolen in the raid but was recovered in Verney Road, Southwark, two days later.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bromley police’s burglary squad on 0208 284 9964 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
