An air ambulance was scrambled to a school in St Paul's Cray this afternoon after a child had a fall.
Headteacher at St Paul's Cray Primary School Wendy Macallister said staff called the emergency services at around 2.30pm.
She said a pupil in the nursery had taken a fall and a London Air Ambulance attended as a matter of priority.
Mrs Macallister added: "It was very dramatic actually - they never take any risks with a young children.
"It's quicker to send that [helicopter]."
However, the teacher said the child was unhurt and was taken by road to hospital as a precaution only.
